Seeking the truth and light via learning

According to Peter Drucker, the more he researches on the scientific and hard truths about management, the more he is drawn to Philosophy and religion.  In order to understand management better  he has to look into humanity and philosophy and thus drawing him closer to religion.  It is ironic that as one seeks technical knowledge that one is drawn to non technical learning.

Indeed scientists and even astronauts overcome by the  vastness of universe and questioning the origin of all these ultimately came to the conclusion that there is God.  Behind the order and success of events and the efficient running of the Universe, there should be an ultimate Power behind of all of these.

Thus learning brings one nearer the Truth, Truth is the Light, and Light is the Lord.

Seize the Day - a required reading and book summary 20 years ago

Yesterday, I attended the 52nd birthday of a  former project engineer who is now a Barangay Captain of the largest barangay in this town (their IRA is P26 million) and he handily defeated the brother of the incumbent mayor.

As we were having eating, he  told of story where somebody  manager at SM boasted of "Seize the Day" Carpe Diem by Danny Cox which they are currenly taking at Sm training. And he said 20 years ago we took that up under Sir George.  

This LGU executive learned from us, our training and working together and was truly proud of having been mentored by us...
