You cant pay back all the good deeds that were done for you by others.  The best way to repay this is paying forward, ie, doing the good deeds in turn to others who need help.  This is gratitude at its best

An insurance company paid for my college education under a scholarship after passing a competitive set of exams in Southern Luzon region  The education from an exclusive school opened a lot of doors and opportunity for me.   To pay back the good deed of the insurance company,  I set up a foundation that sent poor but deserving students to state college and university.   However the good deed stopped at the  scholars whose education we financed.

They did not attend meetings, and the answers to our question on what their plans were simply disappointing.  They did not turn out to be men for others or had sense of service to community and total absence of paying forward.  What will you do now that you are a graduate.     I will get married, go to church and pay my taxes were the the usual reply of our scholars whom we thought were leaders and were compassionate.  They simply were products of culture of entitlement.

We want to see more people paying forward.    Sharing is very common at Soc Media.  Its not just about sharing photos or events, It is sharing with others what we truly treasure:  time talents, and money.

Love without charity and action is nothing...

When you give and share do not expect that something will come back to you.   Pray that the beneficiary will simply pay forward
