When there is a problem we solve it. When there is a situation, there is a problem and the problem needs to be solved soon. This is owed to Konosuke Matsushita the founder of National Electronics whose similar thoughts giving management examples with quotes were compiled in a book
n. Just like in commuting, we always bring umbrella because we do not know when it is going to rain and when it does, we are ready and we open the umbrella asap so as not to get wet.
But which we never practice in life and/or work situation: So this idea of opening the umbrella is a lesson in:
1. Planning preparing anticipating. Especially contingency planning. We anticipate the worse scenario and prepare for this.
2. We must be action and solution oriented - not part of the problem. We cooperate to solve the problem. Many seem to be non involved and unengaged.
3. When there is a problem, we act at once. We open the umbrella. It may be ad hoc solution. But we do not allow wound to fester. Or wounds to continue bleeding. We treat this asap. This is a pointer on diligence as opposed to negligence.
But some people: 1. Stay away from the problem or do not know it;
2. Or simply watch the problem (are simply UZI - usisera)
We become the third type, a person who makes things happen a person who solves
problem
When it rains open an umbrella
