An employee must have a healthy atitude towards a problem . A business offers solution to customer problems, a main value proposition. It is therefore expected that there will be nothing but problem solving activities in an organization: missing documents to be found, unposted accounts, lousy service. etc. A long litany of problems
The level of the individual in an organization is defined by the type of and complexity of problems he solves. Thus the President is expected to face all problem big and small of the organization. A janitor would only be concerned with washing the toilet and emptying the trash can
If the employee or staff is besieged and overwhelmed by his own personal problems, then he is not probably part of the team and should bet off the bus
